Your child will "rule the school" on Thursday, March 4, 2010. On the day's schedule is Historical Perspectives for Children, a historical theatre troupe, that will present a play to our students focused on Jane Addams. In addition, as "Principal for a Day," your child will meet and greet students at drop-off, officiate at the morning assembly, distribute printed pencils/pens, assist in supervising the lunchroom and recess periods, and officiate at the closing ceremonies for Math Olympics.

Your child will get an insider's look at our legislative process when they serve as "Page for a Day" in Springfield. Your child will spend the day visiting with Representative Michael Connelly of Naperville and assisting legislators on the floor of the Illinois House of Representatives. Also includes a certificate for a one-night Friday or Saturday night stay at Springfield's Drury Hotel and three tickets to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum so you can make a weekend of it! Page experience recommended for ages 8 and up. Must be used during the 2010 Spring Legislative session. Family and guests will be provided with gallery passes for the day.
